Job summary

Maximus is seeking a skilled Appian Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications. The role emphasizes Appian expertise, strong SQL skills, and collaboration in Agile environments. A remote position requires eligibility for a Public Trust clearance.

The candidate will work on complex integrations, data modeling, and performance tuning within SAFe/Agile frameworks, leveraging AI concepts when applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (v17.x or higher).
• Proficiency in SQL, Relational Databases.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure complex enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
• Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
• Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Understand/apply AI technologies and Appian AI concepts.
