Job summary

Maximus is seeking an experienced Appian Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications using Appian components such as SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, and Web APIs.

The role is remote in the United States and requires U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of Appian experience are expected, with strong SQL skills and agile mindset.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of hands-on Appian development (v17.x or higher).
• Strong SQL and relational databases skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and SAFe is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure complex enterprise Appian applications using SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, and Web APIs.
• Design secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
• Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understand AI/automation concepts and Appian AI capabilities.
