Job summary

RTX is seeking a Middleware Integration API-SOA Developer to design and code integrations across Apigee, Axway, and Oracle SOA platforms. The role involves working with analysts and customers to refine requirements and deliver high-quality designs for API/EAI/SOA solutions.

You will transform data streams (B2B-EDI, XML), perform thorough testing, and participate in production support rotations. Strong communication and collaboration are essential for success in this remote US-based role.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or IT.
• Minimum 5 years related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of API, EAI, ESB and SOA technologies.
• Experience with Apigee API Management, Axway API Gateway or equivalent.
• Experience with J2EE, XML, HTTP, JMS, SQL, XSLT and XQuery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration using API-SOA platforms.
• Contribute to roadmap and API-SOA strategy.
• Transform B2B-EDI and XML streams into internal/external formats.
• Review designs and code for reusable modules and quality.
• Unit, integration and stress test interfaces.
• Provide advanced technical support and on-call coverage.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations for mission-critical apps.
