Job summary

RTX is seeking a Middleware Integration API-SOA Developer to design and develop integration across API management platforms. You will transform B2B-EDI and XML data, work with analysts and customers to refine requirements, and contribute to the overall strategy of API-SOA solutions.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to troubleshoot independently. You will participate in production support rotations and 24x7 on-call duties for mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of API, EAI, ESB and SOA technologies.
• Experience with Apigee API Management, Axway API Gateway or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Oracle SOA Suite and EDI-related interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the API-SOA roadmap and strategy.
• Provides engineering input into architecture of API-SOA solutions.
• Designs and builds transformations for integration streams (B2B-EDI, XML).
• Reviews design and code for reusability and quality.
• Unit, integration and stress testing of interfaces.
• Provide advanced problem solving and on-call support.
• Serve on 24x7 on-call rotation for mission critical apps.
