CMT Services, Inc. is seeking an API Developer to design, develop, and deploy RESTful and event-driven APIs for USDA enterprise integration. The role focuses on secure authentication, reliability, versioning, and scalable API governance.

You will collaborate across teams, implement enterprise standards, and contribute to documentation, testing, and knowledge transfer to sustain modernization efforts.

Qualifications

3-5 years of API development and systems integration experience.
Experience designing and deploying RESTful and event-driven APIs for enterprise use.
Proficiency in API security, authentication, reliability, and versioning.
Strong technical documentation and change-control practices.
Experience with data mappings and cross-system workflow coordination.

Responsibilities

Interface development, APIs, integration services, authentication, system connectivity.
Systems integration engineering: APIs, integrations, interface design, ICDs, ETL/ELT pipelines, interface remediation, integration testing.
Databricks Lakehouse support: architecture, security design, data model, migration framework, reporting and analytics.
Knowledge transfer: training, SOPs, workshops, shadowing sessions, documentation, repository management.
