Job summary

Edmentum is seeking a Full Time Virtual Social Science Teacher to deliver live, on-camera instruction five hours daily and personalize learning through data-driven approaches. You will connect with students and families, provide timely feedback, and collaborate with schools to ensure consistent, high-quality support.

A Bachelor's and active license with Social Science endorsement (6-12) are required; AP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
• Active state teaching license with endorsement in Social Science (6-12) required.
• Experience teaching AP courses preferred.
• Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, on-camera instruction for five or more hours per day, every instructional day.
• Personalize instruction using student performance data and close learning gaps.
• Provide timely feedback on student work and maintain accurate records for families.
• Build relationships with students and families through proactive communication.
• Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure high-quality support.
