Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Business Analytics Manager to lead a team delivering analytics, data, and lightweight technology solutions for Learning & Knowledge Management and Operations. You will translate business needs into actionable analytics, guide stakeholder discussions, and drive prioritization and delivery in a hybrid, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, information systems, business, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, BI, data engineering, reporting, automation, or related discipline.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring employees, or managing analytical work.
• Advanced SQL skills and data validation expertise.
• Experience using Python or similar scripting languages for data prep and automation.
• Experience building or supporting ETL processes and analytics-ready datasets.
• Experience with BI/visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex data.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analytics Advisors.
• Align team work to prioritized backlog and business objectives with Product Owner.
• Provide guidance on analytical approaches, technical solutions, and delivery plans.
• Ensure quality, governance, security, and maintainability of work products.
• Build trust with Learning, Knowledge Management, Operations, and analytics leaders.
• Communicate findings clearly through summaries, visuals, and presentations.
• Design dashboards and lightweight applications to support learning and operations.
