Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a senior analytics professional to create reports, insights and analytics in support of the division.

You will produce datasets and reports for analysis, develop report specifications, and consult with users while guiding cross-functional teams to address strategic issues. You will work closely with customers to translate data into actionable insights and support decision makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree plus 4 years analytics experience or 9 years analytics experience.
• Gather and document business requirements for information strategies.
• Solve complex problems and reframe challenges using existing solutions.
• Familiar with SDLC, Agile methodologies and relevant tools.
• Experience presenting to inform and influence stakeholders.
• Experience leading functional teams and projects.
• Proficient in SAS, SPSS, R, MATLAB, SQL, Python, etc.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• PC proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Create reports, insights and analytics to support the division.
• Develop specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs.
• Consult with users and lead cross-functional teams on division issues.
• Produce datasets and reports for analysis using system tools.
• Interface between business and data teams to build actionable tools.
