Job summary

Collins Aerospace’s Integrated Product Analytics team seeks an Analytics Engineer II to build an end-to-end digital thread. You will use Python, statistics, and engineering insight to connect siloed data and turn signals into actionable insights for data-driven decisions.

The role is based in Hartford, CT, remote. You will perform data analysis, apply statistical methods, support root-cause investigations, and deploy executable Python models while advancing semantic models and data workflows

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree (or an Advanced Degree) in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Python experience for data analysis and model development.
• U.S. citizenship required to access program information.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis using Python to inform business decisions.
• Apply statistical methods to evaluate data completeness, accuracy, and reliability.
• Support engineering teams with root cause investigations.
• Advance adoption of semantic models and ontologies across the organization.
• Design and build executable Python-based analytical models.
• Automate data processing, analysis, and formatting workflows.
• Clean, structure, and analyze datasets using Python.
