Collins Aerospace is seeking an Analytics Engineer II to join our Integrated Product Analytics team. You will leverage data and engineering expertise to develop end-to-end digital thread across Collins Aerospace products.

The role focuses on transforming siloed data into actionable insights, influencing product performance, service optimization, and enterprise BI strategies. You will bridge engineering knowledge with analytics in a remote, U.S.-based environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree (required).
• U.S. citizenship required for access to program/contract.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Background in Data Science, Statistics, or an Engineering discipline.
• Experience with cloud and distributed tech (AWS/Azure/Spark).
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
• Knowledge of Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis with Python to drive business decisions.
• Apply statistical methods to assess data quality and reliability.
• Support engineering with root cause analysis investigations.
• Promote semantic models and data ontologies across the org.
• Design and build executable Python-based analytical models.
• Automate data processing, analysis, and formatting workflows.
• Clean, structure, and analyze datasets using Python.
• Deploy ML algorithms on numerical and categorical data sets.
