Job summary

Alpaca, a US-headquartered global brokerage infrastructure leader, seeks an Analytics Engineer to own the data transformation layer. You will work on a GCP-based, open-source data platform, building robust models with dbt, SQL, and Python for use across finance, operations, and executive reporting.

You will join a 100% remote team, collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and business users, delivering models via BI tools and reverse ETL processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of analytics/data engineering with a focus on transformation.
• Own data products end-to-end and ensure quality, scalability, and robust models.
• Able to work with ambiguous requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Improve data warehouse performance and ETL efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models with dbt and SQL.
• Set standards for data modelling, testing, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, marketing, and sales to deliver data products.
• Create repeatable patterns for BI integration and reverse ETL.
• Maintain CI/CD workflows and champion data quality.
