Job summary

KOHO is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build and scale reporting pipelines and data models that empower decision-making across the company. You’ll work with Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts across Finance, Operations, Product, and Tech to turn business needs into reliable, well-modelled data.

You’ll own the technical backbone ensuring data remains trustworthy as the organization grows. You should have 3+ years in analytics/data engineering, DBT expertise, strong SQL, and experience with

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar data roles.
• DBT expertise with complex projects and materializations (incremental, table, view, etc.).
• SQL skills with query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with modern data stack tools (DBT Core/Cloud, Git). A plus if Redshift.
• Collaborative, able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Clear communicator, able to tailor messaging to audiences.
• Initiative: identify opportunities for improvement and act.
• AI-curious: interest in AI tools for development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale data pipelines from scoping through delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Create reliable, well-tested data models for internal reporting and self-serve analytics.
• Design scalable data models using one big table, entity tables, event streams, Kimball.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance and implement data quality monitoring.
• Document solutions and establish best practices for the analytics engineering team.
• Integrate data across domains into cohesive reporting structures.
