• Experience detecting hazardous compounds and identifying unknowns.
• Robust method development and validation for trace levels.
• Background in environmental, occupational, or emergency-response sampling and analysis.
• Experience with reference standards and spectral libraries.
• Laboratory accreditation, QA/QC, and proficiency testing.

Responsibilities

• Write challenging prompts in Chemistry and Safety, labeled benign, dual-use, and adversarial.
• Evaluate model responses against policy standards to ensure correct handling.
• Develop reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.
• Differentiate routine questions from misuse-suspicious ones.
• Collaborate to define dual-use lines with practitioners.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving model performance.
