DataAnnotation is seeking a Chemist to evaluate AI-generated chemical reasoning, identify unsafe or improbable steps, and provide precise explanations.

You will write prompts, review model outputs, and author correct answers with careful attention to reaction conditions and safety. This is a flexible, remote, project-based role suitable for candidates with strong chemistry knowledge and clear English writing.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level chemistry background or equivalent lab experience.
• Comfort across organic, inorganic, or physical chemistry.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required; focus on what you can do, not where you learned it.

Responsibilities

• Write prompts that probe chemical reasoning: mechanisms, synthesis routes, and analytical interpretation.
• Review AI output for impossible mechanisms, unsafe procedures, and misread spectra, and rate the reasoning.
• Write the correct answer when the model falls short, with proper attention to conditions and safety.
