• Experience detecting hazardous compounds and identifying unknowns.
• Robust method development and validation for trace levels.
• Background in environmental, occupational, or emergency-response sampling and analysis.

• Laboratory accreditation, QA/QC, and proficiency testing.

Position: Analytical Chemist

Type: Contract

Compensation: $65–$75/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in Chemistry and Chemical Safety , labeled as benign, dual-use, and adversarial.
• Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard to ensure correct handling.
• Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.
• Differentiate routine professional questions from those fishing for misuse.
• Collaborate with practitioners to draw reliable lines in dual-use scenarios.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance .

Qualifications Must-Have

• Experience in detection and identification of hazardous compounds using GC-MS , LC-MS/MS , IR , NMR .
• Method development and validation for trace-level analysis.
• Background in environmental, occupational, or emergency-response sampling and analysis.
