Job summary

Talent Shift, LLC seeks an experienced AML Model Validation consultant for a remote project lasting at least 3 months. The role focuses on independent validation of AML transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and financial crimes risk models.

You will evaluate machine learning models, assess screening systems, calibrate thresholds, and prepare validation reports with governance recommendations. Continental US residency required; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AML and sanctions model validation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• Must reside in the continental U.S. and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• No visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent model validation of AML transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and financial crimes risk models.
• Evaluate ML models used for alert generation, anomaly detection, and risk scoring.
• Assess AML and sanctions transaction screening systems, tuning methodologies, and threshold calibration.
• Prepare validation reports and provide governance recommendations.
