Job summary

Treliant is seeking experienced AML/BSA Analysts and Investigators for project-based client engagements. All work will be 100% remote, with responsibilities spanning review of AML/BSA cases, CDD/EDD assessments, and SAR determinations.

The role requires five years of investigations experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with industry tools such as Mantas, Actimize, Fircosoft, and LexisNexis. Join a knowledgeable team delivering regulatory solutions.

Qualifications

• Five years of AML/BSA and/or Economic Sanctions/OFAC investigations at financial institutions.
• Strong analytical skills from FIU or similar investigative setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and banking systems.
• Experience with LexisNexis and Negative News Searches.
• Experience writing SAR and alert/case narratives summarizing investigations.

Responsibilities

• Review AML/BSA and OFAC screening cases and assess suspicious activity.
• Assess CDD/EDD cases to ensure compliant KYC profiles.
• Use case management systems and vendor tools to conduct investigations.
• Compare activity with client profiles to identify anomalies.
• Prepare observations and documentation for resolution.
• Interact with client compliance and operations staff.
• Determine escalation needs and SAR filing requirements.
• Manage weekly case load per Treliant SLA.
• Meet weekly time-keeping and reporting requirements.
• Communicate scheduling and progress with client and Treliant supervisors.
