Jobgether is seeking an AML Investigator to join an international Compliance team. The role focuses on investigating unusual crypto-related activities, assessing money laundering risks, and determining SAR/STR reporting needs in a fast-paced digital asset environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in AML investigations, is familiar with blockchain analytics tools, and can collaborate with Legal and Customer Support to ensure compliant resolutions.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in investigative function, preferably financial services, crypto, banking, fintech, or regulatory compliance.
• AML experience including CDD/EDD, SAR/STR reporting, and sanctions screening.
• Proficiency with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs, or Elliptic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into unusual or suspicious activities with timely, regulatorily compliant case resolution.
• Assess financial crime risks including money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions in digital asset contexts.
• Decide if cases require SAR/STR reporting or can be closed with evidence-based justification.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports per applicable laws and timelines.
• Recommend risk mitigation measures including account closures or fund freezes when appropriate.
• Trace transactions and identify suspicious patterns using blockchain analytics.
