Job summary

Think Academy US is seeking Remote Math Competition Tutors to teach AMC 8/AMC 10 prep to North American students. This part-time role offers online one-on-one lessons and flexible weekday evenings.

You will deliver engaging, problem-solving based math instruction to help students sharpen logic and speed. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, have experience in math competitions or competition tutoring, and are comfortable explaining concepts in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; math-related majors preferred.
• Experience in math competitions or competition tutoring preferred.
• Strong math foundation; familiarity with AMC, AIME, or MathCounts preferred.
• Available to work during weekday evenings and weekends.
• Mandarin proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online one-on-one math lessons focused on AMC 8 and AMC 10 preparation.
• Teach in English using interactive problem-solving methods to help students develop analytical thinking.
• Guide students through competition-style problems and explain strategies used in math competitions.
• Help students build systematic approaches to topics such as number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry.
• Support students in developing confidence and effective test-taking strategies for math competitions.
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and improvement.
