Job summary

Think Academy US is seeking Remote Math Competition Tutors to teach and support students preparing for AMC 8 and AMC 10 mathematics competitions. Deliver online one-on-one lessons in English, focusing on problem-solving, reasoning, and competition strategies.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in math or related fields, with experience in math competitions or tutoring. Availability during weekday evenings and weekends is preferred; Mandarin bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in math or related field.
• Experience in math competitions or tutoring is highly preferred.
• Strong math foundation; familiarity with AMC/AIME/MathCounts is preferred.
• Available to work weekday evenings and weekends.
• Bilingual Mandarin is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online one-on-one math lessons focused on AMC 8 and AMC 10 preparation.
• Teach in English using interactive, problem-solving methods to develop analytical thinking.
• Guide students through competition-style problems and explain strategies used in math contests.
• Help students build systematic approaches to topics like number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry.
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance for student understanding and improvement.
