Job summary

Think Academy US is seeking a part-time AMC Tutor to deliver online one-on-one math lessons for AMC 8/10 prep. The role is remote in the United States, with English-taught sessions and problem-solving centered instruction to boost analytical thinking and test strategies.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or higher with a strong math background and familiarity with AMC, AIME, or MathCounts. Evening/weekend availability and Mandarin bilingual ability are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above; Math/Economics/Finance majors preferred.
• Experience teaching or tutoring competitive math (AMC/MathCounts) preferred.
• Strong math foundation with knowledge of competition strategies.
• Available weekday evenings and weekends.
• Bilingual Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online one-on-one math lessons focused on AMC 8 and AMC 10 prep.
• Teach in English using interactive problem-solving methods to build analytical skills.
• Guide students through competition-style problems and explain key concepts.
• Help students develop systematic approaches to topics like number theory, algebra, counting, probability, geometry.
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support understanding.
