Job summary

Market Defense is seeking an analytical, hands-on Supply Chain Analyst to join our Amazon supply chain team in a fully remote, client-facing capacity. You will manage inventory and replenishment across multiple Amazon accounts using Seller Central and Vendor Central, turning sales and inventory data into actionable plans.

You will analyze sales trends, forecast demand, and coordinate with clients, Amazon, 3PLs, and internal teams to keep products in stock while controlling excess inventory.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in Amazon supply chain, inventory planning, marketplace operations, or a similar analytical role.
  • Proven hands on experience with Amazon Seller Central is required; practical Vendor Central experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability and the ability to translate large datasets into clear recommendations.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day inventory management for a portfolio of Amazon client accounts and serve as the primary supply chain contact for assigned brands.
  • Analyze sales trends and build demand-based forecasts using sales history, rate of sale, seasonality, promotions, advertising plans, launches, and current business trends.
  • Create and manage replenishment plans to maintain healthy days of supply, reduce stockout risk, and prevent excess or aged inventory across Amazon and supporting 3PL locations.
  • Manage Seller Central inventory operations including FBA replenishment, shipment creation, capacity/restock constraints, inbound status, stranded inventory, removals, and FBM inventory when applicable.
  • Support Vendor Central operations including PO review/confirmation, replenishment planning, routing and shipping coordination, ASN-related processes, shortage research, and operational follow-up.
