Synthires is seeking experienced Altium Designer Specialists to contribute to real-world PCB design workflows and engineering documentation. You will leverage your Altium expertise to complete practical design tasks, document workflows, and support the development of AI systems through high-quality technical contributions.

This remote role is ideal for professionals with hands-on schematic design, PCB layout, routing, component placement, and design validation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using Altium Designer.
• Proficient in schematic capture, PCB layout, routing, and verification workflows.
• Able to complete professional PCB design tasks independently.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear explanations of engineering workflows and design decisions.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned workflows and engineering tasks within Altium Designer.
• Create, modify, review, and validate PCB layouts and schematic designs.
• Utilize Altium Designer tools for placement, routing, DRC, and validation.
• Record screen demonstrations of workflows and document processes.
• Document workflow steps, design decisions, and tool usage throughout tasks.
• Create realistic prompts, evaluation tasks, and scoring rubrics based on workflows.
• Review outputs for technical accuracy and adherence to requirements.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI-generated engineering workflows.
• Follow project guidelines and work independently in a remote environment.
