Responsibilities

• Serves as an ATSS (NAS Area Specialist) in a Service Operations Center (SOC).
• Ensures availability and reliability of NAS services and products for users.
• Provides expert technical support for legacy and newly developed NAS systems across a large facility or multiple facilities.
• Plans, directs, coordinates, monitors, and maintains NAS systems/facilities with high independence.
• Analyses problems rapidly, coordinating restoration to minimize service interruptions and safeguard NAS operations.
• Represents the organization as the primary contact on projects, coordinating plans and information.
• Maintains Situation Awareness and reports NAS information that could impact operations.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and may serve as on-call management representative during non-administrative hours.
