Job summary

The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking an Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (ATSS) in Virginia as a subject matter expert. You will serve as the SSC Coordinator, providing top-level technical support for NAS systems and leading complex projects with limited supervision.

Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, installing, testing, and evaluating advanced aviation network components with emphasis on reliability and coordination with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience as ATSS or in NAS environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate complex projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Serves as an ATSS SSC Coordinator with broad scope and high independence.
• Provides expert technical support for analyzing, designing, installing, repairing, maintaining, or evaluating complex NAS systems.
• Leads projects, ensures availability and reliability of NAS services, guides backup and recovery as needed.
