Job summary

EMS-Management- is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist - Air to review, resolve, and process Air client claims across the revenue cycle. You will perform proactive payer follow-up, address denied or aged claims, and collaborate with payers and internal teams to maximize reimbursement.

The role requires 1–2 years in medical billing or claim resolution, strong knowledge of HIPAA, and proficiency with EMS|MC or similar systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in medical billing, insurance follow-up, denials management, or healthcare AR.
• HIPAA knowledge and ability to protect patient information.
• Ability to learn payer requirements and deadlines.
• Proficiency with billing systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Air client accounts and claim inventories to identify revenue risks and opportunities.
• Prioritize and resolve pending, denied, underpaid, and aged claims.
• Manage claims across payer categories, including Medicare/Medicaid and government programs.
• Contact payers via portals to verify status, eligibility, and required actions.
• Obtain medical records and documents to support resolutions and appeals.
• Prepare and submit corrections, reconsiderations, and appeals.
