Stride, Inc. is seeking an AIG Coordinator for the North Carolina Virtual Academy (NCVA).

This full-time, remote role requires NC residency and will oversee identification, placement, and enrichment for gifted students across K-12, in collaboration with teachers and families. The candidate will lead PD, monitor progress, maintain records, and liaise with state departments to ensure compliance with NC DPI AIG standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active State AIG Endorsement on teaching certificate.
• Ability to clear required background check.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers to interpret data and drive instruction.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and teaching platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, oversee, and continuously improve the district's AIG plan in alignment with state regulations.
• Coordinate identification procedures, including screening, testing, data analysis, and placement decisions.
• Serve as liaison between the school district and state departments regarding gifted education compliance and reporting.
• Collaborate with teachers to provide differentiated instruction and enrichment for gifted learners.
• Lead professional development sessions on best practices for gifted education.
• Monitor academic progress and support interventions for AIG students.
