Job summary

AuraOne is seeking a Writing Feedback AI Evaluator as a remote, contractor role in the United States. You will assess model outputs against AuraOne's quality rubric, assign severity tags, and provide rationales. You will compare paired responses, label issues, and escalate ambiguous prompts for rubric updates.

The position requires strong attention to detail and async availability of at least 10 hours per week. Compensation is hourly and determined after the interview process.

Qualifications

• Prior evaluation, annotation, or human-rater experience on writing feedback AI evaluation or adjacent content for Writing Feedback AI Evaluator work.
• Clear written reasoning that names the issue and the rubric clause being applied.
• Experience with multi-page rubrics across long batches.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate writing feedback AI evaluation model outputs against a versioned rubric and assign severity tags.
• Compare paired responses and select the stronger answer with a written rationale.
• Label hallucinations, instruction-following failures, and unsafe content with structured tags.
• Capture ambiguous prompts and route them back to the program team for rubric updates.
• Maintain reviewer-quality scores by calibrating against gold-standard examples weekly.
• Document recurring failure modes to guide future training.
