Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from home with flexible hours. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, compare image and video outputs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off.

This is a remote, contract opportunity with payments on a weekly cadence. You'll help shape AI systems by providing evaluation data, with rates varying by expertise and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Attention to detail and ability to describe observations clearly.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining scenarios.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism and writing a clear English explanation.
