SpaceXSI is seeking an AI Tutor in Applied Mathematics for a 6‑month remote assignment. You will annotate data, evaluate model outputs, and craft clear, rigorous solutions with precise mathematical reasoning.

The role demands an advanced degree in mathematics, strong mathematical writing, and English CEFR C1+ proficiency. Remote work is offered across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in mathematics, or IMO medal.
• English CEFR C1+ required.
• Experience in AI tutoring or AI model evaluation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate model outputs, verify mathematical solutions, identify errors, and provide rigorous explanations.
• Use proprietary software to annotate and label data for designated projects.
• Support delivery of high-quality, well-curated datasets meeting project standards.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop and train new tasks for innovative technologies.
• Work with staff to improve annotation tools and workflows.
• Solve problems across applied mathematics domains and evaluate AI-generated responses.
