Job summary

Akira Technologies seeks an experienced AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable software that integrates artificial intelligence technologies. The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping and production delivery across the full software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI-enabled applications with OpenAI or similar APIs.
• Experience with prompt engineering and AI automation workflows.
• Strong cloud-native development, Docker and Kubernetes understanding.
• DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Go, Python, and other modern languages.
• Integrate AI capabilities and OpenAI APIs into production applications and workflows.
• Develop prompt engineering strategies and AI automation features.
• Prototype quickly and evolve MVPs into production systems.
• Build APIs, microservices, databases, and external services for AI apps.
• Apply cloud-native practices and container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Improve performance, reliability, and security of applications.
• Collaborate across teams and participate in design reviews.
