Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an AI Security Professional Services Consultant to deploy and tune Prisma AIRS across cloud and on-prem environments, protecting customer AI apps from development to production. You will establish scalable delivery patterns, integrate security profiles, and drive global adoption while collaborating with Product and Engineering to cover edge cases.

This role is remote with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing technical delivery role (e.g., Professional Services or Solutions Engineering).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform) for deploying infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, including kubectl, Helm charts, namespace management, and CNI networking.
• Strong cloud networking fundamentals (VPC/VNet design, routing, load balancers, IAM).
• Experience integrating REST APIs into applications, with Python or curl.
• Proficiency with Linux system administration, systemd, and network configurations.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and the MLOps lifecycle.
• Deep knowledge of LLM security risks (prompt injection, jailbreaking, agentic surfaces).
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 for LLMs or MITRE ATLAS.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Prisma AIRS deployments across multiple intercept modes.
• Lead customer onboarding, including license activation and API key lifecycle.
• Integrate AIRS into application stacks via REST APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure AI security profiles and guardrails in Strata Cloud Manager.
• Provide Day-2 ops guidance with dashboards, API key rotation, and tuning.
• Design LLM gateway security architectures with key management.
• Extend security to agentic apps with tool-calling and prompts defense.
• Evaluate fail-open vs fail-close and latency impacts for workloads.
• Deploy AIRS infrastructure using Terraform on AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Configure cloud IAM roles and service identities for firewall access.
• Install and configure Kubernetes CNI for AI traffic inspection.
• Deploy panredirect agents on Linux workloads with systemd persistence.
• Build scalable delivery templates, Terraform architectures, and API patterns.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to surface edge cases and gaps.
• Deliver enablement workshops on AIRS architecture and runbooks.
