Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges, compare images and videos for prompt fidelity, and explain in writing what looked or sounded wrong, all remotely and on your own schedule.

At Outlier, your evaluations help shape how advanced AI systems reason and improve. You will review outputs across image, video, caption, and audio tasks, providing clear, evidence-based explanations

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations.

Responsibilities

• Hold live conversations in English with AI voice models and rank naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated image and video pairs and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs for distortions, flickering, text errors, or audio-video mismatches.
• Provide written explanations in English pointing to observed issues.
• Complete tasks across image, video, caption, and audio evaluations.
• Provide objective feedback to help improve AI systems.
