Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from anywhere on a flexible schedule. You'll hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely.

This freelance, 1099 role pays up to $15/hour with weekly payments. You’ll gain free access to top LLMs and contribute to how frontier AI systems improve in real-world tasks.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and describing realistic scenarios in a natural, conversational way.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Compared AI-generated images and videos, judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and mis-matched audio.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific English explanation of what you saw.
