Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented reviewers to rate AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models in English, compare AI-generated images and videos to prompts, and describe in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Responsibilities include ranking outputs for naturalness and clarity, examining video frames, and writing concise reasoning in English. This freelance role offers flexible hours and 100% remote work.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail, with the patience to look and listen closely, and to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and articulating realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a focused explanation in English.
