Job summary

Outlier is offering a remote, flexible-hours role reviewing AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image/video pairs, and explain what’s off, all from your home or while traveling.

The work adapts to your schedule and pays up to $15 per hour, with additional incentives based on project needs. Ideal candidates are fluent in English with sharp attention to detail and strong written communication.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of making a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely—including zooming in and replaying—to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatch.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a concise explanation in English.
