Outlier offers a remote program where software engineers can contribute to training AI models by reviewing AI-generated code and scoring model responses. You'll help improve code generation and evaluation while working from anywhere in Latin America.

No prior AI experience is required. Successful applicants will join a flexible 1099 contract environment, earning up to $34 USD/hr, plus potential incentives based on project needs and performance.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase ideally for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code using structured guidelines and flag errors or quality issues.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions to improve outputs.
• Write computer science prompts to challenge AI models and push coding capabilities.
