The Lawfare Institute is hiring a program assistant to support the AI Research Program’s day-to-day operations, spanning six research domains. You will coordinate logistics for workshops, visiting fellows, and policy briefings, working closely with research leadership and editorial teams.

This early-career role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Remote-friendly with Washington, DC-based travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong organizational, logistical, and project coordination skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coordinate across staff, fellows, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for invite-only workshops in multiple cities.
• Support logistics for legislative briefings and nonpartisan AI primers for federal/state legislators and staff.
• Coordinate the visiting fellows program: onboarding, scheduling, travel coordination.
• Support production of the Scaling Laws podcast: guest coordination, notes, clips.
• Assist with video and social media content scheduling and promotion.
• Maintain program calendars; track deliverables and deadlines.
