Cornelis Networks, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Productivity Engineer to shape how AI is used to design, validate, and support advanced networking products. You will build a private, secure AI platform and a growing workforce of AI agents to automate engineering work.

This remote role within the United States emphasizes applying AI responsibly to engineering workflows, with a focus on reliability, cost-efficiency, and engineering impact.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Python or equivalent language with tooling and code-review practices.
• Linux experience in development, deployment, or troubleshooting.
• Hands-on with Model Context Protocol and MCP-based workflows.
• AI agent development beyond toy demos, with real tooling.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation and grounding in docs/data.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI Platform configurations, tooling, and infrastructure for a private, domain-aware AI assistant.
• Design, implement, and expand a workforce of autonomous AI agents for engineering operations.
• Develop agents with FastAPI REST API, CLI, and chat integration.
• Maintain containerized services on Linux, reverse proxies, and DBs; manage secrets and integrations.
• Write and refine agent prompts and structured workflows for reliability.
• Build CI/CD validation pipelines and lead inner-source PR reviews.
• Monitor platform cost and value; optimize model usage and deterministic code where suitable.
• Keep the platform current by evaluating tools and upgrading capabilities.
