Job summary

Cornelis Networks is seeking a Senior ASIC Verification Automation Engineer to design and optimize AI-based verification flows for world-class SoCs used in AI and HPC workloads. The role emphasizes scalable automation, distributed teams, and state-of-the-art flow development across design, architecture, and CAD teams.

You will build automated regression, reporting, and triage tools, leveraging Python, Perl, Tcl, and shell scripting, while collaborating across functional groups.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of post-college experience in design automation, verification automation, CAD, infrastructure, or ASIC verification support.
• 8+ years of scripting/automation experience using Python, Perl, Tcl, shell scripting or similar.
• Experience with Linux-based engineering environments, source-control/build flows, regression execution, and EDA tool integration.
• Ability to debug automation failures, tool/runtime issues, infrastructure bottlenecks, and workflow inefficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve AI-based verification infrastructure and automation flows across ASIC verification levels.
• Build and support scalable regression flows, dashboards, and triage automation to boost productivity.
• Create scripts and integrations using Python, Perl, Tcl, shell, Make, and related automation tech.
• Support simulation, coverage, lint, formal, emulation, and CI flows with cross-functional teams.
• Manage compute, storage, license, queue, and job-dispatch infrastructure affecting verification turnaround time.
