Job summary

Newpage Solutions is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers who treat AI as the substrate of how software gets built. You will sit close to clients and product leaders, reframe vague problems into concrete, and ship working software end-to-end. You won't wait for a refined backlog or PM; you will shape the idea, build the thing, and stand it up in production yourself.

This builder-first IC role requires fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, agents, eval harnesses, MCP, and modern TypeScript and Python.

Qualifications

3+ years building production AI applications and agentic development.
Hands-on with agents and multi-step tool integration.
Strong Python or TypeScript, with clean code discipline.
Experience deploying production AI systems to cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Sit with business/clinical leaders to reframe ideas into concrete, buildable projects.
Deliver a working prototype by week’s end and translate ideas into software.
Collaborate with product, design, and client stakeholders to ship usable AI systems.
Demo live without slides and iterate on feedback fast.
Lead POCs, innovation sprints, and internal AI research experiments.
