Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an AI Engineer to transform operational data into production-grade AI/ML pipelines, models, and LLM-powered applications. You will build AI products, APIs, and dashboards, partnering with analytics teams to enable AI in existing tools and contribute to AI strategy for measurable business impact.

You will own the full AI/ML lifecycle from requirements and model design to training, evaluation, API development, deployment, and operations, delivering real-time decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years hands-on AI/ML engineering experience building and deploying models or AI-powered apps

Responsibilities

• Define, build, and evolve AI-powered software products for Commercial Engine Services operations.
• Create Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for reusable AI capabilities across the enterprise.
• Package AI/ML models as robust, well-documented APIs for dashboards, apps, and workflows.
• Collaborate with BI to embed AI features into applications with natural language queries.
• Provide hands-on AI/ML technical leadership for modernization and best practices.
• Partner with executives to translate business needs into AI capabilities.
• Ensure AI/ML models deploy reliably to AWS with monitoring and performance optimization.
• Translate requirements into a backlog and drive timely delivery.
• Design data pipelines to feed AI/ML models with high data quality.
