Job summary

Fieldwire by Hilti is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to architect and deploy cutting-edge machine learning models that turn raw site captures into actionable intelligence. You will build AI-driven solutions to provide customers with data-rich insights for improved job-site understanding and collaboration.

You will lead data curation, work with VLMs/LLMs, generative AI, and RAG architectures, and optimize ML pipelines for production in a cloud environment within an agile team.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in a related technical discipline.
• Proven portfolio of AI/ML solutions or products.
• Strong background in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Neural Architectures.
• Experience with CV, multimodal systems and spatial intelligence.
• Proficiency in modern DL frameworks and production-grade programming.
• Experience optimizing models for resource-constrained environments.
• Understanding deployment pipelines and model optimization for diverse hardware.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in machine learning frameworks to develop robust AI solutions.
• Apply VLMs, LLMs, generative AI, RAG architectures, and agents to solve complex construction site challenges.
• Lead data curation and data quality assessments for datasets and continuous updates.
• Collaborate within an agile team to deploy solutions in a cloud environment for fast prototyping.
• Take ownership of components from conception through production deployment and monitoring.
