Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, compare image and video pairs, and explain what looked off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

At Outlier, your evaluations help shape how AI systems reason, learn, and improve. You will provide written explanations that pinpoint issues and contribute to real-world AI performance improvements.

Qualifications

Fluent English with clear written communication.
Strong attention to detail and the patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
Comfortable thinking on your feet and speaking through realistic situations.
Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
Able to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

Hold live conversations with AI voice models and rate naturalness and clarity.
Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge prompt adherence.
Inspect outputs to spot distortions, flicker, or misalignment.
Write clear explanations in English detailing what was off.
Rate outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, realism.
