Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media remotely and on flexible hours. You will role-play live conversations with AI voice models, score exchanges, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, helping shape AI systems for real-world performance.

We offer remote, freelance opportunities with pay up to $15/hr and additional incentives. You’ll access leading LLMs and work from anywhere with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zooming in, replaying) to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Rating outputs across dimensions (adherence, quality, realism) and writing a concise English explanation of what you observed.
