Job summary

Outlier seeks detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, compare AI-generated images and videos, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

In this flexible role you’ll help shape AI systems by scoring exchanges on relevance, quality, and realism, and providing concise, evidence-based explanations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Ability to explain what looked or sounded off in writing.

Responsibilities

• Holding live conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness and clarity.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zooming/replaying) to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Rating each output on adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a concise, evidence-based explanation.
