Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from the comfort of your home or while traveling. You will engage in live conversations with AI voice models, assess how well outputs follow prompts, and document concise explanations of observed issues in writing, all on your own schedule.

As part of Outlier’s evaluation loop, your feedback helps shape how frontier AI systems learn and perform in real-world scenarios.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication and comfort with natural conversations.
• High attention to detail and patience for replaying or zooming in to spot issues.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models and rating how natural, useful, and clear they sound.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zooming/replaying) to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, misaligned audio, or text errors.
• Writing a concise, English explanation describing what was observed and why a choice was made.
