Job summary

Outlier is hiring remote evaluators to spot what AI-generated media gets wrong. You’ll hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image/video pairs, and explain what looked off, all on your schedule. Earn up to $15/hr with weekly payments, and gain free access to leading LLMs as part of the role.

This freelance, 1099 opportunity lets you work from anywhere in the United States, including travel, with flexible hours and project-based rates that reflect expertise and requirements.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations is a plus.
• Comfortable discussing realistic scenarios with AI in a natural, conversational way.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn't match the video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
