Job summary

Outlier invites detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media, conducting live conversations with AI voice models and scoring each exchange. You’ll compare image and video pairs, explain what was off, and work remotely on your own schedule.

The role supports researching frontier AI systems, with pay per hour and optional incentives. Applicants from multiple regions can participate, with weekly payments and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor's degree or above preferred.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations in natural conversation.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models.
• Ranking how natural, useful, and clear each interaction sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging prompt adherence.
• Inspecting outputs for distortions, flickering, or misalignment and explaining findings.
