Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You’ll hold live conversations with an AI voice model, compare generated images and videos to assess which better follows the prompt, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Able to think quickly and discuss realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when options have flaws.
• Currently accepting applicants from: Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distortions, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Writing a specific explanation in English pointing to what you saw or heard.
